Our Top Picks for Grad Gifts

It's that time of year!

Acceptance letters are being sent out and we're all looking for creative graduation gifts!  No worries, we've done the legwork and rounded up 10 of our favorite graduation gifts to give this year:

1. Laptop: An obvious choice, yes - but definitely a must have! Be sure to look for student discounts from places like Apple and Best Buy.

2. Noise-canceling headphones: Wish I had these back in the day! College dorms can be noisy, and having noise-canceling headphones can help students focus on their work without being distracted.

3. clear purse Yes, this is a brag - but every college girl on campus needs a cute one for Game Day! Our new clear purse with printed or beaded shoulder straps are HOT gifts this year. Order collegiate licensed purses or in team colors. And we even have basic stadium totes for the guys on your list!

4. A backpack: Backpacks don't have to be boring, Jansport offers a huge collection of very colorful backpacks. Of course we are drawn to carrying a classic tote like our USA made canvas retro tote- all the room for your stuff and you can toss in the wash when needed.

5. Smartwatch: Confession: If I forget to charge my watch and I can't count my steps for the day, I don't bother taking a walk! It feels like it doesn't count. Seriously this is a great gift, and can help students stay on top of their schedules, track fitness goals, and stay connected with friends and family.

6. Gift cards: This can be an incredibly thoughtful grad gift, look up local restaurants and fast food joints in their soon to be "home town" and send them a gift card from there. 

7. portable phone charger: How many times has my charger "gone missing" after my college kids where in town...? Apparently this is an incredibly practical gift!  You can actually order cute stickers on etsy and personalize them.

8. Comfortable bedding: College dorms can be uncomfortable, and comfortable bedding can help students get a good night's sleep.

9. An experience: this is my new go to gift - order a gift card from Stubhub - if their new team goes to the playoffs you'll be their favorite! 

10. If they're going out of state, send them points for an airline! I wish someone had given that gift to my son when he left for Auburn!
